If the temperature difference is too large, it may cause uneven wall thickness of the bottle, affecting the physical properties and appearance of the bottle.

It is also important to observe the actual performance of the preform during the heating process. During the heating process, the surface of the preform should not be discolored or deformed due to local overheating. For example, if the local temperature of the PET preform is too high, it will turn yellow, which means that the heating performance of the halogen infrared quartz heating lamp may not be suitable and needs to be reselected or adjusted.

Heating speed:
It must meet the production speed requirements of the blow molding machine. If the blow molding machine has a high production speed, such as producing more than 60 bottles per minute, the infrared heat lamp for beverage bottle industry should be able to heat the preform to the appropriate blowing temperature in a short time (usually a few seconds to more than ten seconds). Whether the heating speed meets the requirements can be determined through actual testing. For example, for PET preforms, the appropriate blowing temperature is between 100-180℃.
